It's no joke, it's Tupper's Hop Pocket Pils on cask. No word on the Harviestoun beers yet.
As an aside they've just added Belhaven to the regular draft lines (nitro dispense).

I have been hearing more and more about "cask conditioned" lagers lately. Personally, I think it could be a good thing. Although I haven't tried one, yet. Maybe I'll make a cask out of my bock for the pub.

I love the idea, but the thing I worry about is not adjusting the recipe for the lower carbonation and warmer serving temps. Harviestoun's Shiehellion is a cask lager that really excells mostly, I believe, because it's properly formulated for its dispense method.

Harviestoun's Shiehellion is an outstanding beer from an outstanding brewery. They make exceptional beers. Let us know how the Tuppers Pils is.

TONIGHT (4/2/04)Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA will be pouring thru RFDs very own Randal.
For those wanting to experience the latest in hop overload technology. I had 120 min on this at the Jackson thing last week and it's pretty amazing. would like to try it on something with a bit less ABV (and with a full pint not a tasting)
I won't be up for a pint until after the Cherry Blossom run on Sunday.....Hmm. I wonder if they'll have any left on the enamel animal by then?

Upcoming casks (I'm not sure what order they'll be served in, but they're in house):
RCH Old Slug Porter
RCH Pitchfork Ale

Freeminer Resolution

There's a chance that Brian heard the name of the Freeminer beer wrong as I don't see a Resolution but I do see a Speculation.
I'll keep y'all up to date with what's on as soon as I know. Shiehellion is still on order.

I've had several of the Freeminer beers. The Titanic and Speculation. Had Speculation both on cask and from the bottle. I have also had the Old Slug on cask. All of these were at the recent South Beach beer fest. The Brewer from Freeminer was there.
