Tweek are you going to be the "Official Supplier" of all of your board buddies when this batch comes out? What can I trade ya? Or what can I pay ya? :D

Anyone know if this will be as widely distributed as their other beers?

I was able to obtain two bottles of the 03 in late June of last year when I was in SD. The 02 is hard to find and expensive when it is. I'm not sure of the distribution as it is only one batch done on that one day.

Here is Stone's distribution list. I'd call now (if you haven't already) and get the scoop on who'll have it in your area. I pre-paid for six bottles last year figuring it would fly off the shelves...then I saw it languish at some retailers for months. In fact, a few stores still have stock. I'll probably pre-pay again if I can just to ensure I get some 04.04.04, but availability was not a problem up this way last year.

I called my local Stone Distributer (I found him on that website) they said it was actually shipped today and several of my local paint stores should have it. I know it will sell out quickly here in the DC area.

you get stone in DC? what, the city of the big shoulders isn't good enough for them? bah. well at least i know if i end up moving to DC i can get some decent beer there. SF too I bet. Would hate to leave all my favorite midwest brews behind and not get anything interesting in return.

Oh, you'll find some great beers out here in the Bay Area.

That beer probably travels down I-80 which happens to run a mile from my house. I think I will start highjacking beer trucks!:D Then I could turn this desert into an oasis of beer!

I think BluesHarp found some Stone products at the paint store in my neck of the far north 'burbs of Chi. Get on those boys at Sam's - and how 'bout that likker store in downtown Evanston, Evanston First? They usually have a decent selection.

DC is a great area for good beer. Not only do we have the Brickskeller and RFD but we benefit from all three areas (VA, MD, DC) differing selections and outlets. Also between Richmond to the South and Baltimore to the North we have plenty of craft breweries.

I have a buddy who lives close to the DFH brewery and he found some Stone in his paint shop today.

I didnt look yesterday as it usually takes a day or two extra for the paint shops around here to either get it in or get it from the back room to the shelf. I am not really worried about it, I know ill be able to get as many as I want. I can still get 03.
