Do you guys tend to like one random beer and not another? Or do you tend to like beers by their region of origin? I know lots of you like Belgians. I like the English ales, and most especially, the American incarnations of English ales. I don't like much else, except a good alt, kolsch, or czech pilsner. (but not German pilsners.)

I tend to pull for local brewers and give them the benefit of the doubt.

There are very few styles of beer I don’t like. For me it is more of a question of season. I don’t drink a lot of stouts in the summer, and don’t drink a lot of hefes or lager in the winter. Some year round beers for me are APAs/IPAs, Abbey ales, and Wits.

I like most any beer that's not macro-swill. I favor beers with a nice hop aroma(not necessarily over the top but present) and a full malty taste.

I will try just about any craft beer. A well crafted beer, regardless of origin is a good beer IMHO.

Same here.
Although I prefer North American style ales & lagers, I would probably try anything a local has to offer. Belgians & barley wine would be the exception.
Can't outsource our beer.

Yup. Same here. I always go out of my way to try new beers rather than ones I've had before. Variety is the spice of life!

A good beer regardless of where it comes from is worth drinking. I do tend to try locals more just because of availability and I like to support the home town brewer.

Do you remeber Justin Wilson the cajun cook?

I remember someone asked him a question on what type of wine to drink with a certain type of food.

His response: Ya drinks the kindsa wines ya like!

That has always stuck with me.

To answer the question. I like most all hand crafted beer.
