Bug the brewer for a job, but bring along some of your best beers. In a bigger brewery like this, it may or may not work.
Start hanging around here and there and get to know the crew without being "the guy who won't go away." Once they get to know you and your love of beer they may offer you a position.
Check into their production plant. See if they have anything open on the bottle line or in shipping. It is a good place to see what goes on inside as well as get to know the guys. I know several production breweries that hire brewers from inside.
Since they have a production facility as well as a pub try both places.
Good luck!

Yep, the best way to get in there is to get your foot in the door any way you can, without being too much of a pest.
Other than that, I agree with everyting else Brewmonkey said.

I am actually going to the Deschutes Brewery on Saturday for a tour and the free tastings afterward. It's going to be a long drive, but it will be worth it. Mirror Pond is one of my all time favorites.

I just found out that I have a conference I have to go to, but if I get out of it, they have tours from 12-4, I was thinking somewhere in the middle of there. PM me if you think you might go at a certain time.

Has anyone tried the Red Ale called the Cinder Cone? I just noticed it in stores about two weeks ago, it is now one of my new favorites from the great Deschutes Brewery. If you can get to it you should definitely try it.
