I cant remember the reason that was given. Why cant we have more than one emoticon per message? and how bout some new emoticons? I saw one on another board that had one smiling face poking another face with a sharp stick, how perfect would that be?


This is a great board and this is not a complaint only a wish list.

The one emoticon per post is kind of annoying, especially when quoting others' posts.

I think it is that way to limit the bandwidth usage to one pic per post. I think emoticons should be excluded from that since they are so small.

Emoticons are annoying. Plus they use a lot of bandwidth. So they're only about 1.2K, but this entire post is less than that. Imagine if everyone put in 2 smileys.... You'd instantly triple the bandwidth demands of the site. Forums aren't cheap, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this one was a money loser.

I agree with the idea that we need more interesting emoticons. The ones on here are kinda lame. I don't mind one per post - but some new ones would be great.
