We're finally making the move! I know I haven't been as active on the board as usual -- we've been planning and packing and organizing and all of this stuff trying to get all of OUR stuff to Colorado, and it's finally going to happen! So this post is probably the last one you'll see of mine for quite some time. When we complete our relocation and get internet access, I'll be back on to see how things are going. *sniff* I'm gonna miss you guys.... *SNERRF* Have fun voting without me! (Have fun passing me in the total posts, too.... :( )
P.S. Those of you who are still waiting for beer shipments from me have not been forgotten about! I've already integrated it into the packing process. Fear not!

Get back soon! We'll miss your posts :)
Good luck Fret, make sure if your move takes you through Nebraska to not stop very often. We are the wasteland when it comes to good beer. :)

Good luck! I understand the pains of moving, I have done it 17 times due in large part to being a military brat and then my time in the service.

Good luck on your move. My wife's aunt and uncle live out there in Colorado as well as a couple of my friends. Maybe if I come out to visit them we could get together for a brew or two :)

See you on the other side Fret. I get out to Denver every other year or so to visit family and friends. Maybe on my next trip out we can hook up for a couple of brews.

No internet service yet, but we're here, safe and sound! I'll be logging on at some point in the next week and getting back to my overly verbose ways. Thanks for all the well wishes... they sure helped a lot!

I hope you have a good integration into your new home. I'd also like to thank you for the advice given about local brew interests in the area you gave me. I'll be sure to drink one for you at each of the places you listed for me.

Thanks! We are alive and well after the hardest move I've ever made in my life. I think Murphy moved into the back of the van, and then slipped into the back room of our new place... EVERYTHING has gone wrong. But we're alive, and we're HERE in the Mile-High-Land-Of-The-Micro! (Plus, my work place has regularly scheduled tours of the New Belgium plant... we can't wait to go! :D)

Welcome back buddy! So where did you find gainful employment so quickly? And with fringe benefits at that!

I transferred from my old place of employment in TN. Without actually naming the restaurant, I'll go the old "wheel of fortune" route and say that I work for a major national chain seafood restaurant with a large ruddy crustacean on the sign out front.... ;) (Please don't guess; I'd love to keep my anonymity for a little while until I get enough bass students and gigs to be self employed again...)

1) CO is BEAUTIFUL! A little windy today, but that's fine... I grew up with it. Walked into 5 beer stores since I've been back, and there's more good beer than I could shake a bottle opener at in this town. Unbelievable!
The move stank, however... the only thing that didn't go wrong was an accident on the way here. But it's all in the past now, and I can safely sit back, watch our Voyager DVDs, and sip on a fresh 90 Shilling.
2) Pad my post count? Did you see just how far I am BEHIND??? I'll NEVER catch them at this rate... I think I'll have to settle for my status as the first one to reach 4 digits and let it be. Oh well....

I did not read through all posts and typed response due to being paged by son.
Move is not complete until you certify all the rooms.

"Certify"? Clarify, please....
If you mean that my wife and I have to christen each room, well, you'll just have to wonder about that.... ;)

BTW.... in '69 I wasn't even a twinkle in my father's eye... did they have frogs back then here? I've seen ONE in over 25 years, and that was when I was a wee lad.
