yup

what i did was brewed up a Hefe and added lemons peeled and squished to the secondary. Was pretty good actually and I am going to be amking another batch for a friend pretty soon.

Yup. I brewed a simple pale ale and added an ounce of lemon flavoring at bottling/kegging. The socond time I brewed it, I used Addams Lemon Extract instead of the lemon flavoring. Was good. My hippie friend still says that the first batch of Lemon Ale I made was the best batch of beer I've ever made. I tend to disagree with him on this matter.

St. Pat's Lemon Ale
OG 1.038 4% alc.
6 lb Moravian pale LME
1.5 oz Northern Brewer
1 oz Hallertau
American Ale II
1 oz lemon flavoring at bottling
1 cup corn sugar for priming
