Come to Yakima and sit in a friendly, smoke-free (yes, they are cigarette nazis) environment and try some really good beer. Take a tour of a hop field, for we grow most of the Nations hops. Take a wine tasting tour, for we also produce some of the finest wines in the country. While you're at it, take a hike or a fishing trip, or go skiing at White Pass, the mountain that produced the likes of Steve and Phil Mahre. We have a lot to offer.

Heading that direction in about an hour to ride mountain bikes through the desert wildflowers and swoopy sagebrush singletrack of Cowiche Canyon. Our group will head over to Bert's after the ride. A couple of us are looking forward to sample the Hopzilla.

There is nothing wrong with a smoke-free bar, because there is nothing better than drinking a great brew at a great bar without breathing in the guy next to you's smoke.

Welcome Nathan, and agreed! If smoke only affected the smoker, it wouldn't be an issue at all. Maybe they could have bars that have something like "cones of silence" installed for those that insist on lighting up... :)

Thanks for the welcome, and the agreement. I found this website after reading Michael Jackson's "Ultimate Beer" book. I love this place, this is a great website, and a great idea.
