I have a problem with first round. I don't think Boulevard should have been paired against Celis. Just my opinion, but it was a Celis (I voted for Boulevard, one of my hometown breweries) round before it even started.

Im with you on some of the pairing choices. I dont get Lost Coast Downtown brown with North Coast old Rasputin. WTF is that? The only similarites I can draw is they both have coast in their name.

Don't forget, we all nominated different beers and (I imagine) the beers with the top number of nominations filled the brackets. At that point it was probably difficult, to near impossible, to find the perfect pairings all around - and the best was made of the situation.
