Amsterdam Beer Stores

I have a friend who's in Amsterdam for a very short time and has offered to pick up some beer for me. We was told that there's an excellent beer store called something like "Bierkonig" but he wasn't sure of the exact name. If anyone knows the exact name of this shop (with street address and/or URL) it would be greatly appreciated. Any other recommendations for beer shopping in Amsterdam would be greatly appreciated.

He's leaving on 17 March so the info won't do me any good after than time.

I just replied on the other thread you posted on telling you how to find it. My wife is Dutch, and most of her family still lives in Amsterdam. I have been to the Bier Koning several times, and it is pretty sweet. I hope your friend find's it.
