i think SNPA uses perle for bittering and cascade for flavor/aroma (if you want to get really technical...)
my personal preference on the hop additions - i'd go with two separate 1/2oz additions at 20min and 10min (or similar), rather than a 1oz addition at 15min. it helps give a more well rounded hop profile.
also, i like to throw the aroma hops in a right after i cut the heat and before i begin chilling the wort.
either way, sounds like a tasty brew!

Looks good, I would only suggest:
1.00 oz Cascade [5.5%] (5 min) Hops 3.9 IBU
to
1.00 oz Cascade [5.5%] (3 min) Hops 3.9 IBU
For more hop nose.
Very tasty looking.

There will be no difference in the aroma with that little time difference.

brewmonkey---So if he wants more hop nose, do you say make that last addition at 1 minute, or flameout? Or add another 1/2 oz? Or some combination thereof?
PS--you aren't by any chance Baltobrewer, elsewhere?

I would go for after flame out, and as late as possible before knocking out. I usually go to kettle off, 10 minute rest into a 15 minute whirlpool and 30 minutes rest. I add the hops at the start of the whirlpool and have had good results.
Sorry, not me.

thanks...looks like I've got a new technique to try....the fear of infection etc that is drummed into you when you start doing this hobby has caused me to, I now see, rush a little too quickly from flame-out to wort chiller and fermenter.....I haven't been doing anything remotely like what I read as a 55 minute gap between flameout and draining to fermenter.....my rest has been about 5 minutes plus however long it takes to hook up the counterflow chiller...
Looks like my next brew day is about 45 minutes longer!

As long as the wort stays about the 185 mark you should be all right.
