spent last evening at this brewpub. the bar is short and the tables were similar to the german style pubs, with rows of tables and you just sit down. you can pull tables apart and get a bit of privacy, though.

the menu was limited, but they are noted for their green chili. maybe folks in denver need to take a trip to northern nm or something, but the green chili (while quite tasty) was not worth that big of a deal.

i had their platinum wings, which were very hot while my fianceé had a pub burger. both were quite good. i was tempted by the fish and chips, though. overall they had a nice smattering of pub grub.

they brew a wide variety of ales at ironworks. we drank their ipa all evening although i did have a palate cleansing wheat after dinner and sampled their stout (see the beers that are new to you thread for my take on those three). they also brew a brown, porter, red, esb, and a couple of other varieties.

we were about to leave when the band started setting up, so we stayed a bit and listened to some local music.

the crowd was older...a pleasant surprise, really. i'm so used to going into places with all the college kids, but here the crowd was mostly 40's or older.

all in all a nice place. the beers were not stellar but not bad, either.
