. . . or an all-grain? Anyone?
I love this beer. Heck, I love ALL of Lagunitas' beers.

I've only had two of their beers, the IPA and the Gnarleywine. I enjoyed them both very much. The IPA is full of floaties, they must dry hop it.
Edit: The Lagunitas webpage says:
"Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts..."
It might be difficult to clone.
Edit again: Although from reading the nonsensical descriptions of their other beers, this may be nonsense as well.
:)

I spoke with a very nice gentleman at Luganitas today...He said the key to the IPA is Hopping later to get the aroma....and 50-60 caramal for the color..the hops he mentioned were centennial and cascades..He said the 45 ibu's is accurate..Just seems like more, do to the Intense aroma. And he said don't take the website too seriously.
Here is a recipe, for 5 gallons, I came up with and am gonna try in a couple weeks...any opinions on how to get that wonderful orange color and flavor you might have would be appreciated..
8lbs Pale Malt
1 Lbs. Cara/pils
1 Lbs. 50-60 Caramel
.25 Centennial ----60 min....8 ibu"s
.25 Centennial-----30 min....6 ibu's
1 Oz. Cascades----30 min....14 ibu's
1 Oz. Columbus----15 min....17 ibu's
1 Oz. Cascades------3 min...2 ibu's
1 Oz. Cascades---Dry Hopped
Total ibu's....48
og of about 1.060
Think 1 Lbs 50-60 is too much???
