Pours a deep amber reminiscent of light maple syrup. Not much of a head, and what was there dissipated after a minute or so.
This is definitely the first beer that made me think "yeasty-biscuity"! Wow! What a change from most barelywines I've had. Very strong alcohol note (note? It's more like an airhorn!) in both nose and palate, and hints of citrus and grape are also present. This is a sipping beer to be sure! If only it was barelywine weather here... never thought I'd miss snow! Thanks Paul!
