S. Nope... that one was from the annals (anals? ;) ) of my crainal file. Somehow, I have this talent where misspelled words simply don't LOOK right...

S. True, true... I just like the idea of everyone putting in a little extra advertising for their favorite brew. We're all free to change it from time to time; as a matter of fact it might be a good idea! I just found some SN Porter clip art I may use someday....

Actually either would be acceptable in this case since minutiae is the plural form of minutia and it's unclear whether Steve is referring specifically to multiple separate useless details or useless details taken collectively.

You have everyone on this board's DREAM JOB (except me, I'm going to be Stevie Nicks when I "grow up").

I think Stod's new name should be: Moses. :D

Moses parted the red sea, Stod brews the red ale, little difference, in my book.

The best line from the old Cecil B. DeMille movie is Edward G. Robinson saying "Moses, Moses, Moses"

His ESB is legendary on this board. It must be excellent to pass muster here.

deffenitely in the esb top 3, so when i found my growler empty it was kind of depressing. he's about 7 hours away from me so it's not exactly like I could just go and refill it! :(

I don't even know if he makes one. Well, do ya stod?

I live several thousand miles from Stod's, but I fully intend on showing up personally to get my growler filled. Just don't know when that will be for sure!

Well, I don't make a red ale, per se, but the ESB is pretty red.

Hopjack, its only seven hours, hop in your car and come fill that bad boy up!

Bruno, only several thousand miles, hop on a plane and come fill that bad boy up! :D

I've thought about it. haven't taken any course of action yet. All the filing fees, and court costs and such, just to have a few stinkin letters changed in your name. It's Ridiculous!

i'm not biased.

Can I toot my own horn? My local "Paint Store" is called Ray's Mug & Jug. For the most part it your typical party store. Cooler full of macro's. To Ray's credit he did sell a couple micro brews like some of the Bell's beers. I asked Ray if he could check with his distributors to see if he could get Sierra Navada Pale Ale. Sure enough one of his distibutors carried it and he is now selling S.N. just because I asked. I'm known there as the guy who likes to buy the weird beers. I take that has a compliment.

I sent him a photo of an old prohibition label for a concoction called Bru - No. If I can ever figure how to attach a photo I'll post it here.

...... ask and you will receive

Ok this the first time using an icon I cannot figure out how to move it were I want it to go.... behind the sentence

fretlessman71

You can actually type them in as such, Jake: : + D = :D
You can see what they turn out to be when you click on the icon, too: If you type the word "eek" and put it directly between two colons, you'll get the "eyes-bugging-out" icon. You only get one, though (kind of a strange rule, if you ask me), so use it wisely!

Eyes are the best they've been this morning - finally got a decent night's sleep. Off to go get really full now.... Happy turkey day, everyone!
