I have only just spotted this in What's Brewing but just maybe it will help those near to Miami.

At the Miami FAB World Food and Drink Festival on 06 to 08 February 26 UK microbreweries are stting up a pub dispensing British cask-conditioned beers. No gas, no filtration - just good British beer.

Get there if you can.

I think ChazwickE is going to this event.

I myself am heading off to check out the quality of beer at this brew pub:

Foxys bar (http://www.foxysbar.com/)

It's tough work but someone's got to do it. Mon.;)

I sampled all but 4. I had several tastings of some of them. Some I had had before but most were new to me. There was also a couple of BCA beers available most notably the Titanic from Freeminer. A wonderful and authentic IPA that I will post Tasting notes for later. They had many other beers from Microbreweries and Imports but I chose to stay with the English cask ales exclusively. While I was a bit disappointed that there were only 37 cask ales as opposed to 64 last year. I revelled in those that were there. The Mystery Tor probably being my favorite

Amazing amount of variety from just one small part of the UK - the South West. This area used to be a beer dessert not so long ago, better known for its cider (as a youth we used to go camping in Newquay every year and the beer was awful). Good to see there are so many breweries there now.

My own trip to the BVI was great but the beer was not. I was all excited when I found the brew pub on Jost van Dyke (foxy's link above). The beer was very dissappointing. When the brewer is walking around drinking Heineken from the bottle, then this is an indication that his own brews must really suck. They did. But there's always the rum.

Anyway I look forward to your tasting notes.
