Tried it, liked it, thought I'd share...

Double shot of espresso (helps if you have an espresso maker)
4 oz. water
1/2 cup or more DME
4-6 oz. milk
Vanilla to taste (go EASY...)
Little extra sugar or sweetener (if you must)

Basically, you're making a 4 oz. shot of wort to add to your latte. Steam your milk if you can (just heat it and stir vigorously if you can't), and add coffee, wort, sugar, vanilla, and lastly steamed milk. This isn't very sweet without the sugar, but you can taste a little of the wort in there. Not bad at all!

I used about 3 heaping teaspoonsfull of DME; in retrospect I might have gone with a little more, so I'm guesstimating 1/2 cup would do the trick.

I was out of chocolate syrup, and decided to try something interesting.... :)

A friend of mine bought spagetti sauce from a health food store.

I tasted a familiar taste when i tried it, so I checked the ingredients and it was true, they used malt in the recipie instead of sugar.

Barley Malt is also an ingredient in one of my favorite hot sauces called Religious Experience. Comes in 4 varieties... Mild, Medium, Hot, and The Wrath. :D

Mmmm.... hot sauce. One of my favorites is Ring of Fire. It's a habanero based hot sauce, it has a pretty good amount of heat, but it's got a GREAT flavor. It comes in regulat, extra hot, tomatillo and garlic, and chipotle and garlic. There might be more flavors, but those are the only ones I have. They are all great.

Speaking of hot sauce, I spilled hot sauce i my car after shopping last week. What's the best way to get it out of the carpet? And speaking of cars, what kind of car do you drive?

"The Wrath" is hot, but it's not in the same league as Endorphin Rush or Dave's Insanity Sauce. It's really more of a salsa anyway - it's very hard to explain until you've had it. It's really unbelievably good! Like nothing you've ever had. (Even the medium variety tastes good! Imagine that!)

Let's twist it back to this.

The type and color of the car that you drive can tell a great deal about your personality I've heard.

I drive a black Infinity FX45.

What do you guys drive?

Dark blue 1996 Honda Odyssey. Not quite a wagon; not quite a minivan. Nice combo!

Before the family, a Blue Ford Ranger XLT Sport (with the off road package). Now with the kids we have a Silver Taurus SES although I am looking to get a mini-van. Not sure which company though. We have been a Ford family as my wife used to work for them and all our cars came under the A plan with employee financing (3.9% guaranteed).

Speaking of hot sauces, does any one else grow their own peppers and make hot sauce? Noticed a trend among most of my buddies here and we all love our hot sauce and most do make their own.

I had a 2000 Honda Civic till December when someone decided they liked it also and stole it. I guess they only liked some of it though. The cops found it stripped with nothing left but the frame and one seat. Now I drive a 93 Explorer. Hoping to get a new F150 in a year or so.
