Has anyone here or any brewery ever bottled
with a whole hopflower in the bottle.

I think that would be pretty cool
like a worm in tequila
but kind of a pain when cleaning the bottles for reuse

Seems like it might cause a problem with the pour. I mean, the worm ain't nearly as big as a hop flower.

but they float so it should just find its way to the back of the bottle
I am going to bottle a few, in clear bottles so it is pretty of course!

I'll let you know how it works

And if they find their way to the mouth of the bottle, they will more than likely fall into the glass instead of clog it. That could look kinda cool to. A nice golden/copper pint with a hop flower floating in it. Just make sure you let people know about it. They might get freaked by a clump of greenish stuff floating in there beer.

Bottleworks, the beer store in Seattle, had an IPA that was brewed specifically for them. It had hops in the bottle. I think it was brewed by Laconner.
