Regulator pressure

When you get your tanks filled, how many psi's does the high pressure gauge show? Mine is at 600 which is just above the red area. Is this normal or is it usually higher?

800 psi.

If your tank has cooled down, you can expect to see a drop of 200-400 psi. the gas is still there, but has condensed.

OK, Thats right then. Mine is in the fridge. I knew it wouldn't be like 2000-3000, but when I got it filled it seemed low. Guess not. Thanks...
