I'm thinking of using this to clear out my sweet stout before I bottle it. A few questions (as usual):

-Would you do this?

-Is this a good product to use for this purpose?

-Kieselsol is the first ingredient. What is it supposed to do?

I'm intending to do this because I don't want to have so much yeast in my bottles when I'm done. Will this help me achieve the desired result?

-My beer has spent 17 days in 2ndary. Should I rack to 3rdary, use the Super Kleer, and then bottle in 2 days?

(Oh, yeah... there's primary, secondary, teritary, and THEN what.....?)

I have not heard of it. I don't find that I have a yeast problem in my bottles though so I have not looked into something like that product. I am sure someone will come up with a good answer.

After 17 days in secondary, it really should be clear enough to bottle now with minimum sediment. If you use the SuperKleer, it will need to sit for another several days.

Why use it in a stout anyway? You're not concerned with clarity in a stout.

I'm not concerned with appearance, obviously... just getting the yeast out of the bottle so I can't pour it into my glass. Maybe I'll save this stuff for the IPA I'm going to make next....?

I've used SuperKleer and it worked very well.

I only had to use it once on a batch of pils that just wouldn't floc out.
