I'm working on a Light lager with 2.5 Extra Light DME and 1.5 Lbs Clover Honey with Wyeast 1056 yeast. 1 week active primary/ 1 week secondary ( all 70 degrees) -----5 days in bottles ( 1 cup priming sugar) yet, little carbonation. Does Honey extend carbonation parameters?

It may if you carbonate it with it, but you carbonated with sugar so this IMO should carbonate as usual. Are the bottles warm enough for the yeast to ferment the sugar? If not, get a heater going.
5 days is a little short in my experience. I never usually taste before 10-14 days. Since you have brewed with honey, even if the beer is properly carbonated, it will probably take longer than usual to taste its best.

Yes, Asahikun is correct, Honey takes longer to ferment, but typically does so very completely and adds little or nothing to carbonation. I would definitely give it all the time it needs to finish, you cannot put beer on a time table, doing so only results in a mildly amused batch of beer that isn't ready to bottle yet, and a frustrated brewer.

Honey also has a tendency to add very interesting and unexpected flavors to your beer, so be ready...
