Old Fezziwig

I like this beer, but it only comes once a year in this x-mas package. Is their a similar beer out there i can get year round?

I agree! I'd love to see Old Fezziwig available on its own-- it drives me nuts to have to buy the 12 pack to get two of them. The other beers are fine (with the notable exception of the vile Cranberry Lambic), but come on, let me buy what I want!

I agree. That is the beer that inspired me to brew my holiday ale (kegged yesterday, a little late!) I didn't even get close though... a little too much ginger :(

I have wanted to try this beer but I refuse to buy their 12 pack of mediocre (at best) beers in order to do so. Perhaps they will start to sell it on its own some day and I will actually get to try it.

If you like the Old Fezziwig, try some other holiday beers. Just remember, some breweries go CRAZY with the spices and flavorings. Thankfully, Sam Adams keeps it subtle. You also should try Dead Guy Ale from Rogue.

Hey Tweek. The other beers in the 12 pack are good with the above mentioned exception of the cranberry crap. REALLY bad idea. Tastes like that shitty cough syrup your mom gave you. Except worse.You can always give that to the guy who never brings beer to share!

By the way, I took your advice of a couple of weeks ago. After dropping the carboy, I waited a little while and went to secondary. Not much trub and it's now bottled and seems to clearing nicely. Thanks again.

Heyyy.... I LIKED the cranberry lambic... I just had to think of it as juice! ;)
