I spotted this while scanning ebay. Might be a good buy for someone in the Seattle/Tacoma area.

How much do towers cost? It looked like a solid fridge, but I think shipping would be prohibitive. I like the stainless top.

I just bought the same system new for about $1300. It holds 4 Cornys AND the CO2. I also upgraded to 4 taps in a "T" setup. I'm a little handy, but I would not have even come close making one on my own. I saw this on E-bay and would have been all over it if I wasn't on the other side of the US. I recommend it to anyone on the left side of the map.

I just found a classified ad for a mini-fridge (dorm style) with the foolowing dimesions (25"H x 19"W X 19"D). I was wondering if this could be used with a converion kit to make a kegerator for 3 gal cornies? Does the CO2 tank need to be refrigerated, if so would a 3 gal and the tank fit in there. Thanks for any help.

I am a cheap skate. I could never spend that kind of money on a fridge that only holds a few cornies. I spent a total of $250 on my entire kegging system, kegs, regulator, tank, fridge and taps. Don't get me wrong, that stuff is cool, but I would rather spend the $ on ingredients. EBay rules. :D

yes, 3 gal cornies will fit just fine. my 5 gal cornies are 25" tall (without QD's), and since the 3 gal cornies are the same width, they'll fit just fine.
if that 19" x 10" has a flat bottom, (I have my doubts that it's the bottom measurement) you could concievably get 3 cornies and co2, or 4 cornies into it. I set two Pepsi cornies next to each other, they're 17" across the pair...
No, your co2 doesn't have to be inside the fridge. It's just neater and less messing around with hoses, etc. If you don't put it in the fridge, secure it somehow so it doesn't get knocked over. (other than the whole "turning into a 800psi missle" worst case scenario, regulators are expensive...)
