The Solomon Juneau and Pull Chain ales sound interesting.

is this going to be interesting/fun? might have to find a friend with a car to drive us up to milwaukee, or maybe find a way to take a train.

Well, while I can't vouch for this fest in any way, the Milwaukee Ale House is a great pub and they had good beer (don't remember if they had any CC) and decent pub food the last time I was there.

:D ...yeah...but this guy drove 300 miles a couple years back to make my 40'th B-day party(Saturday), and he had to fly to CA early Monday morning! I owe him; and there is a good chance of a blues jam after the wedding...can't pass up a chance to burn up a harp!!

I hope the're serving some decent brews. I thought it might have been one of those wifey dragging ya things.

...not sure about the beer, Chaz...but the groom is a fan of quality brews, and actually owns stock in one of the smaller Minnesota breweries... can't remember which one (perhaps James Page?); but they make some decent beer, so I expect at least one serviceable beverage.
If not...there is always scotch on the rocks!
As a newbie here let me assure you it's worth the drive. I haven't missed the fest since the beginning. Normaly around 20 Wis. breweries with 2-4 flavors each plus the Milwaukee Ale House's own beers. Plus free Usinger sausage till they run out.
Cheers, Osh

Thanks, Osh...rub it in! :D
Welcome to the board; it's a very cool, mellow place...great people who love good beer.
I did find a liquor store in MN that carries Victory and Hair of the Dog; I haven't been able to get them here...so it will be all good!!!

Oh yeah, I'm sure that probably holds out for at least 8 or 9 minutes... ;)
