Whoa... is that bitter!!!

I had a tin of the Edme English IPA and I decided to mix it with a tin of Black Rock's East India Pale Ale.
It has only been in the bottle for a week but I couldn't resist. It was great but "Whoa" - shit, is it bitter!?!
Will the bitterness mellow over the next week or so?

tin? are you talking about hopped extract? And yes the bitterness of beer will mellow over time.

Yes, both tins were hopped LME. I have doubled up before and it's often fairly bitter but this is something else.

If you pay the postage from Japan, I'll gladly send you some:D
