Has anyone ever used a cleaner called "Alconox" to clean there brew supplies? I use this in my lab at work to clean glassware, etc. It is supposed to be "free of any interfering residue." It does an awesome job on glassware. I would like to use it in place of TSP, which is what I currently use but don't know if it would be a problem.

TSP is pretty caustic. Could it be any worse....?

I have not heard of "alconox". Is that alcohol + some oxygen cleaner?
I use TSP to soak bottles in to clean off labels, but have not used it for any other cleaning. I feel if I clean brewing "stuff" as soon as possible, then sanitize, I am doing ok. I do try to cover or seal what I have cleaned, and always re-sanitize before use.

It's an alkaline phosphate detergent of some kind. what I am worried about is it will leave residue behind that will kill my head.
