Usually, when you see a deal for $1 beer, it's an industrial lager. It could be one of the Big Three (Bud, Miller, Coors) but it's usually something lower on the totem pole. That's not the case at Broady's Burger's and Brews in Santa Rosa. This burger joint is serving up quality burgers and a quality craft beer at a price that literally can't be beat.
There are actually four taps at Brody's and all are priced at $1. Typically, look for three beers to come from Anheuser Busch with the fourth tap being the Brody's Pale Ale. Don't let the unfamiliar name fool you, this is a beer brewed by Firestone Walker, and they know how to brew a pale ale. This year, Firestone Walker took home a gold and silver for the American Pale Ale style and have taken home a total of 2 golds, a silver and bronze over the past three years. In addition to the house pale ale on draft, bottles of Speakeasy's Proibition Ale are also $1.
As for the food, the burgers come in any variety you can imagine. Grass-fed beer, turkey, bison, veggie and even pulled pork and sloppy joe's are all on the menu. Pair these with fries, sweet potato fries or other traditional sides. All together, grab a Brody's burger, fries and pale ale for $7.
The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. Sports are on display on the one TV screen in the dining room, but don't expect this to be a rowdy sports bar. Due to rawkus behavior, NFL games are not shown on Sundays but Monday Night Football is available as are all the Giants World Series games. Patrons are limited to four beers per visit as this is a restaurant first and not a bar.
Be sure to see the slideshow and let them know at Broady's that you heard about them from the Santa Rosa Craft Beer Examiner.
