I formulated this recipe to use up some leftover grains and hops. Let me know what you think.

Mish Mash

Beer: Mish Mash Style: old ale
Type: All grain Size: 5 gallons
Color: 12 HCU (~8 SRM)
Bitterness: 42 IBU
OG: 1.049 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 5.3% v/v (4.2% w/w)
Grain: 4 lb. American 2-row
3 lb. 3.2 oz. British pale
7 oz. British crystal 50-60L
.9 oz. American chocolate
5.5 oz. Flaked barley
Mash: 70% efficiency
Boil: minutes SG 1.041 6 gallons
13.5 oz. Cane sugar
Hops: .92 oz. Bullion (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 15 min.)
.35 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 15 min.)

I like the name and the idea!
It would be great to have one tap in a brewpub tht is just a chance beer that always changes. Always slightly random.
too bad you didn't use a Yeast blend as well

i've thought about doing a stout the same way... start with a standard ale base with some roasted/chocolate/black malts, then just throw in all the other little bits of crystal, victory, munich, etc, malts i have laying around...
