I am going to propagate a starter from a bottle of Hen's Tooth. Will this starter be large enough to do a 10 gallon batch? I bought a converted 1/2 keg while on vacation and I want to attempt a double batch.

you can build just about any amount of yeast into an appropriate starter. For ten gallons I usually have approximately 3 or so pints of starter that I pitch.

Howdy-
since you are beginning with a relatively tiny amount of yeast, you willneed to "Step up" your starter in stages. If you make up about 3 to 4 quarts of 1.040 wort and use 1 pint to start the starter. After you've seen the fermentation slow down, pour more wort into the starter. Repeat 1 or 2 times more, the resulting starter will be plenty viable. Just be sure to allow yourself several days for the starter to step up before brewday.
Enjoy!!
