Source for used equipment?

Lads,

I've got the extra refrigerator to turn into a kegerator and clearance from the wife. In a matter of weeks I look forward to having Guinness on tap. Yum.

It looks as if total equipment cost for a Guinness set-up will be in the $350 range. I can hack this but am wondering if there are any sources for used equipment. There are bars and restaurants going out of business every day in this fair nation and SOMEBODY has to be selling the used equipment. Buying new when used will do...is this a possibility?

Look in your yellow pages under restaurant equipment. You will probably find used dealers. I will warn you that these guys can be tricky. I worked in this field. Some used dealers were charging new prices.
