Where to stay - London

Thanks for all the info on the "Best pubs in London", It looks like 5 or 6 of us will be coming to the UK to gulp some real ale. We're interested in this deal by Virgin http://www.virgin-vacations.com/LONFMWG.ASP and was wondering which hotel would best suit our needs. For the most part we just need a place to crash, I guess location is more important that comfort.
