Hi everyone,
Just wondering what you got for the celebration of New Year?
I bought me today:
Shepherd Neame: Spitfire
Shepherd Neame: Late Red (never tasted before)
Guinness
Kilkenny Irish Beer
and I already have saved my last cans of Smithwick's Ale for this occasion. (MY LAST... snif...)
I'm open to any suggestions, 'cause I'll have to go buy some more tomorrow. Some of my friends will come to help me drink all this ;)
I wish everyone all the Best (and lots of beer) for the year 2004!!

I have been threatening, since May, to open that bottle of Unibroue 11 I have sitting in the beverage fridge. Guess that will be one of many that I bring out tonight.

Since all I have in the fridge right now is home brew I will probably be toasting with one of those. Eithe that or with one of the bourbons that are in the cabinet.

well, I broke down and went back to the liquor store (hey, it's next to the grocery store...) and found a 4 pack of 2001 Samichlaus and a 750ml of Sept 2002 Victory Ten...
this is in preparation for winning the powerball tonight... :D

I was very busy on New Years and didn't buy anything super special. I bought a six of Dogwood Winter Ale (Atlanta micro) and had a bottle of Maker's Mark (though I really don't drink liquor often.) At the countdown I had one of the Dogwoods and a shot of the Makers.
