It seems like a while back these guys were fighting it out with Sam Adams, Harpoon and Brooklyn for east coast good beer mindshare.
Now they've slipped off the radar. Their IPA is still terrific, I like the Ale, and I still have a few of their India Dark Ales stashed away in the basement. But they don't seem to do any seasonals, no new products, no marketing. Even their web site (http://www.newamsterdam.com/) looks like it hasn't been touched since 2000. What gives?
