i"m new, first batch in keg . I like all beers: well most i really like bocks and stouts .Eny advice would be loved and used . My first is a ale . My temp is low but 66/67 should i worry about it ? Yeast seems to be working . Can raise it if need be ? help!! I would like the best bock and stout brews. thanks GAW..

First of all, welcome! We're all here to help each other out. If your beer is fermenting at 66-67*, that won't be a problem. If your yeast is working, no worries. Just enjoy the process and don't stress about it, and everything will turn out fine.

hey: thanks steve i won"t sweat the temp.... but will it affect the taste?? sorry i'm chopin at the bite . And......... is a malt beer the same as a wine like beer... AHHHH....seagrams?? you know what i"m talkin about......the new RAZ ... just like a sweet beer?? :confused:

The temp won't affect the flavor that much. It won't be as fruity/estery as if you fermented at 70*. In my opinion, however, 68* is about the optimal fermentation temp. for most ale yeasts. As far as the rest of your question, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Happy Brewing.

steve so what you'er sayin is low temp is good ?? i"m thinkin about ways to raies the temp. savely.... but if i don't need to worry about it then... thanks dude you've been a big help !! ...... OK ..
