Sick brewer = bad beer?

Looks like both my wife and I have a bad bug. I was thinking of making my second batch of beer today, but I don't want to pass anything along to the beer that would ruin it. Is this a risk, or am I just fretting unnecessarily again...?

Brew away! Nothing you have could possibly survive the brewing process. That, and the low pH and alcohol in the beer, prohibit the growth of any pathogens in beer. So, the only limiting factor is whether or not you feel up to it. Happy brewing, and I hope you guys feel better soon.

However, if you discover on that can, then you'll have a way to get rid of those pesky people who are always asking for your beer!
