Recently I made a batch of Bock, when I added the LME it scorched. And it now has a burnt taste, I am thinking about dumping it out. It isnt completely undrinkable but it isnt a very good berr either. Can anyone offer a way to salvage this batch, or does it gotta go?

Is it bottled and carbonated already? If not, if it is still in a carboy or even a corny keg, you could use some Claro KC finings or something similar. That will take some of the taste out. I don't know if it would make it drinkable or not, but at $2, it might be worth a shot.

This thread has been up for a while and now I am interested in what you did with it.
Did you drink it?
I personally like burnt toast and burnt pancakes, so I would drink it!

I have been at work since I posted this question, so I havent had a chance to do anything yet. But I will follow ToneyC's advice with the KC finings, it is waiting in a keg.
