So just got back from a month trip across Europe, tried as many beers all over as I could manage and had very very many new great brews, but the one that stands out as possibly the best beer I have ever had was a dutch beer I tried in Amsterdam called Mug Bitter. It was a blond that had an aroma of pure hops, that was all I could smell. Tasted the same, but it was still a very light and crisp blonde. Not like all the dark bitter IPAs that I have tried.
Has anyone else had this? Even Google doesn't turn up much on it, I'd love to find it here in the states or even better find a recipe and try and brew something similar myself.
