Yeah, that's probably the best guess.
Though, it's only going to be about 1.050 so it could probably classify as an American Brown Ale.

I would require a bottle to confirm, but seriously 6oz of hops, my lhbs charges almost $3/oz of hops.

He's not doing full boils so the utilization is lower, and Vance loves hops.

I'd love to, but shipping homebrew internationally is expensive (and illegal).
I'm going to Sierra Nevada in a few weeks, and they want me to bring homebrew, but I can't jeopardize my entire trip by trying to bring some on the plane with me.

You must be talking Canada Law. Cause it is legal to ship beer in the usa.

Pack it in your check baggage and you will be fine. I bring Fat Tire home whenever I go somewhere out west.

I'll be doing the same, commercial beers are a-ok. I'm taking some down with me, and some home too. It is the unmarked homebrew bottles that would likely not impress a US customs official.

Oh customs, that's right. Why don't you bottle into some commercial bottles without removing the labels?

+1 Rebottle in a commercial bottle with the label intact customs will have no clue.
