Hey all, i just want to say thank you to everyone for being patient with me in my learning process. I know my addiction to Dark Malt Extract has Proven Frustrating and I completely understand WHY everyone says use pale malt as a base, and I Do Plan to Buy a 50lb sack of Pilsner DME and a 50lb sack of Wheat DME. Both are very very light in color.And both are either Single or Duo Grain made.
Please understand that even tho it may seem like i am ignoring your advice, i am not, I am just HIGHLY experimental with my hobbies.The way i look at it, If i want a Style match to a Porter Or Stout, Ill Buy Black Butte Or Obsidian Stout. I like what i brew at home to be stuff that you cant go into any beer store no matter how big it is and buy it. Really as anyone ever seen an Imperial Wheat Stout IPA in a store EVER??? lol So before you think i don't listen, I do. I take all advice to heart.
