I've been reading your beerbreak news for some time now. I really appreciate you bringing it to me.

I do have a question though. When I click on the story in my browser, right in the middle of the news story is an advertisement. I realize you need to make money and I always try to support the ads that help bring me commodity I want, but why would you bring me so close to the news and then not let me read it because there is an ad over top of the story? It actually covers the central part of the story. What's up with this?

Quite obviously, we don't want advertisements to appear on top of the words in our news stories. The pages are not designed to appear that way.

The best we can tell, this is happening with older browsers, mostly Netscape Navigator 4.0. A free upgrade is available, we've tested the pages on it and they appear as intended (so you can see all the words).

Sorry for the inconvenience, particularly since I'm the guy who does the words

Prosit,
Stan

You're correct. I upgraded to Netscape 6.2 and the problem went away. I'd been putting off upgrading for some time. As long as it worked I didn't see the need. Keeping me from reading about beer was more than enough reason. Thanks a bunch. Thanks for doing a great job!
