Been a while since I have been on this site but I am about to recite an experience I had earlier this summer.
If you don't mind french it is well worth a trip to Montreal Quebec in early June to experience Bierre Mondialle, a beer festival that features hard to find beers from all over the world as well as having an exquisite beer and food pairing evening. This years feature was Japan and it was amazing to try beer from there in a craft version, I had a very delectable Rauch beer from there as well as a couple of Yuzu Ales that were much more subtle than most fruit beer I have had here. Also available were beer from the states that I am unable to find here such as Avery and some others also available were many some belgian imports (tried a Rochefort 8 and a bush noel) Also intriging beers from denmark and sweden such as a fine assortment of Mikkelar's brews.
If this hasn't inticed anyone Montreal is also home to some of the finest girls I have seen, and did not need their boyfriends to bring them there and were very open to new things.
all for now
