Growing up an Army Brat and then spending the better part of ten years in the service, I dread moving. Some 20 times over my life and at one point 4 times in 4 years (I spent each year of high school at a different one).
Good luck Tweek, when do we get the invites for the house warming party?
have fun moving ;) send lots of beer!

Hey maybe he had lots of heavy beer that he did not want to move. maybe we could have helped him with that problem.

Anyway, hope its a smooth move Tweek.
Make sure the first beer in your new residence is a special one. :) Peace, HN-

Im back. The move went fairly well. It poured all day long, but we had a covered truck. Nothing was broken so all in all I would call it a success. As far as the house warming goes, anytime any of you are in the SAnta Cruz area drop me a message we will drain a few together.
Cheers!

Hey Tweek. Congrats on the move. I'm in Scotts Valley so perhaps we should get together at Seabright and have a few to several beers. Welcome to the area!
Cheers,

Welcome back Tweek. Glad it went smoothly. I visited Seabright in the early 90s. Glad to hear it is still open.

Thanks guys.
Stodbrew, sounds good. Let me get out of boxes and we will do that. Have you been to 99 bottles? I am hoping that they will be good.

I have only been to 99 Bottles a couple of times. It's a pretty cool place. As I recall, they have some good beers on tap, maybe some hard to find ones too? I don't go down there very much because I don't really go to downtown that much. But it's been awhile since I've been there so it's definitely time to go back.
Cheers

ahh yes downtown Santa Cruz. Nothing like having a 13 year old with braces on her teeth beg for your change so she can make a peace sign out of quarters on the sidewalk.

Has the day after Christmas become some new traditional moving day or something? I helped my brother move TWO very large truck-loads of his family's "stuff" from one side of town to another yesterday - finished the day with 2 Hacker-Pschorrs and collapsed! I'm too old for this sh**! ;)
