Water?

I have been brewing for about a year now and until recently I never gave much thought to the water I use- I have been buying gallons of water instead of using tap water- my thinking was that the jugs of water would give me a better beer as it is cleaner plus I never have to measure it out- am I a moron? I have good tap water- how much will it change my brews if I switch to tap?

Depends on the water chemistry. Most municipalities have water reports posted on their website, or you can request one.

Are you doing extract or all-grain?
