Beer machine mixes!

I was just given a beer machine, it is a couple of years old and had never been opened. I took the mixes out and decided to make one 5 gallon batch with the two 2 1/2 gallon kits. The two I used were Golden Ale and a Nut Brown Ale. Do you think this will be worth my effort in trying? I did purchase some new yeast to start the primary, thanks in advance for your input.

Hopefully it won't be too good, cause you'll never be able to make it again ;)

I've made some okay beers with stale kit extracts. The fresh yeast was a good idea.

my feeling is that you will prob come up with a mediocre brown ale when all is said and done.
