A Sankey tap is a complicated little device used to tap a sankey keg. Instead of having separate gas and liquid lines that the bar help might be able to mix up or screw up, it is a single fitting with a lever action thingie that all they have to do is slap it on there, give it a twist, and they're done. The gas and liquid lines are integrated into the single fitting to make it simpler to operate.

So I won't use this with the cornie keg I just bought (haven't received yet)?
Should I have ordered something else in it's place? I already have one of these devices for commercial kegs.
edit
I think I already found my answer, it's just a matter now of which disconnects I need.

If it's a standard ball lock cornelius keg, you woould need one gas and one beverage disconnect. Then you can either dissconect the Sankey and connect those lines or buy new lines since they are only a couple of bucks. You can pick them up at any homebrew shop.
