I seem to be finding alot of conflicting info. on pot meta does anyone know for sure if it is/isnt a sanitiser or bacteria inhibitor and does anyone use pot meta as a sanitiser in brewing?

it is for sure, though it is more commonly used in winemaking then beermaking. however it is a very effective sanitizer.
