Taste of the Midwest

Anybody out there know the date of this year's Taste of the Midwest? Also where is a good hotel nearby? Is there a web site that has this info?

The Great Taste is Aug. 9, 2003.

Tickets go on sale May 1, and they aren't kidding when they say they'll sell out. Ticket information is at http://www.mhtg.org.

A friend of mine goes with a group every year and they book their hotel well in advance. A few weeks ago she told me that some are already full, and others are requiring a two night stay. I'm still trying to talk a friend into going this year.
