Is it me or is this forum not that active? I may be expecting too much but when I started posting here it seemed like there was tons of activity. Since I have posted it seems like I am waiting hours (sometimes days) before someone post their opinion or suggestion. I only look at the "Homebrewing" threads so I have no experience with the rest of the board. Thanks for all the feedback that I have received!

Just yesterday and today I'd say I've noticed a huge decline in activity. . . .

Yup, I think you ruined the forum:D . Just kidding, but with the holiday season starting people are busy and don't waste (spend) as much time here, myself included. Having eaten myself into a coma Thursday that took a full day to recover from I know I haven't been here as much. Also there haven't been many new threads started by newer brewers, those are the ones I like to get involved in.

makes sense. Good to know it's not me :)
I feel like a new brewer recently so it seems like I have a ton of questions, and look forward to getting answers and feedback.

Just keep posting away. I've been visiting here for over a year now and it seems like it goes in fits and spurts. I've had days where it takes me almost 30 minutes to read all the new posts and then gone for two days without any real activity.

Just keep posting :)

Exacatly, I've been showing everyone my poor typing skills here for three years. Seems to me the greatest activity is in the spring and summer, when we brew most.

After Christmas there will be plenty of new brewers. And plenty of questions.

And us long time members and brewers will be here to answer those questions. And sometimes debate those answers :D

But do you know what scares them? Do you know what they did last summer?

And I lay in wait for a question about unclean glassware or problems relating to how long the beer's foam lasts.

I wondered where you were lurking...care to try one out? I'll start you off with a question: everytime I pour a beer, the head drops off too quickly...

This problem is caused by glassware that has not been properly cleaned. Dirty glassware can kill head retention faster than the cop knocking on the car window.

Since I have nothing in my kegs or in my pipeline, not to mention a bunch of hops in my freezer that are begging to be used, I plan to start ramping up production soon.

I'm going to do a porter the week after the Winter Solstice Holiday(sorry, just the atheist in me being a non-conformist), and maybe a schwartzbier on the same weekend. SWMBO is a little upset with me right now because I don't have any of the schwartzbier on hand. It's her favorite. My craft beer meet up group is also about ready to cause me physical harm because there is no beer in my beer fridge. At my Pirate Party, they drank about 8 gallons of beer and I haven't had much time to brew since then.

I also have a bunch of Centennial that is just begging to be put into about 22lbs of 2 row, 4 pounds of Vienna, a pound of Caramel/Crystal 10L, and a little Carapils. That would make ME very happy.

In fact, I'm hoping that Santa drops off a 50lb bag of 2 row at my house this year.
