San Fran isn't a bad place to be instead. You'll find pletty of big beers there. Hopjack don't worry. I plan on drinking the Frank's Double IPA and any other hop bombs in your honor. I try not to drink anything below 10% but I do love the doubles. Oh, and yes it is only the Carlsbad location that has festivals at this time. I'm hoping the San Clemente one may have some in the future.

well thnx brown, i wish i could make it , maybe next time....sounds like a lot of fun though, you have a good time and don't get to crazy, im looking forward to seeing you at l.b.s on the 13th

The Strong Ale Fest was friggin' excellent. It was my first time there, and I met lots of cool folks, and drank lots of great beer. Personal favorites:

Infinite Hoppiness
Oggi's Ding Dong Double IPA (actually, all the Oggi's were great)
Samiclous 9 (sp?)

Oh my. The Ding Dong was incredible. In fact I believe the Alpine Double IPA was the same recipe. You're right though. Oggi's barleywine was delicious also. Lotta fun. Actually was coherent afterwards. The benefits of drinking water. Looking forward to their 12 hour Belgian in the spring.

i don't think my 120 is going to make it by the 13th fellas. it's being mailed out on tuesday (tomarrow) i knew i shoulda kept my mouth shut! damn! maybe, and im hoping against hope it'll make it here from P.A. in three days? probably not but i feel real bad about it, im going to keep my fingers crossed anyways though.
