Let's do some live tasting

Come one guys, let's get some live tasting on. What do you guys want to taste? We film our show on weekend evenings, would love to do some beer on the show live via ustream and have a bunch of people in there talkin about the beers together. What do you guys think? Any ideas on some beer to taste?

Well, it is Oktoberfest starting this Saturday. Perhaps a live tasting of a couple of imported Oktos and a couple of US sometime next week?

Sounds like it could be cool. We are probably doing a live taping from Oktoberfest in San Fransisco on the first weekend in October, but I'm not opposed to a "pre-game" show :)

Make the call MRTRAV. Tell us what and when and people will jump onboard. Pick something widely available to ensure a broader tasting base. I can get a bunch of guys to my house and well join you.

Sounds good. What about the good 'ol Spaten Oktoberfest with another well known Oktoberfest. any suggesstions?

Might be nice to compare a US Okto with the Spaten. Out here, I'd say Victory or Starr Hill, but that might be geographically limited. How about Bell's or Sam Adams?

Sam Adams and Spaten could probably be found around the states. I think thats the best way bet. Everyone free this weekend?

Weekends are tough. I have 3 Oktoberfests to attend next weekend.

Thought you guys were talking something during the week.

We can do during the week. I assumed weekends were easier to get together and drink beer for everyone :P. I'll work on my end to find a good time for us to get everything setup.

Also, I may not be able to make it. Believe it or not, I am attending a wine seminar (German and Austrian wines, in honor of Oktoberfest) tomorrow evening. It starts at 7 EDT.

We will be starting around 7 pacific time. Might do a second episode after that, we'll see how we are feeling after the oktoberfest episode.
